With the different metal, different fin count and different flow you will likely experience different characteristics to your heater (feedback has varied but most common comment is that they are a little slower to heat up but are hotter when up to temp). The unit is made to match the physical dimensions of the original and weatherstripping is included for an air tight fit with no rattling (weatherstripping was also used with the original ones).
