Nokian Tires for your 14" steel or alloy wheels. The 195R14 is a half inch larger diameter than the stock 185R14. Nokian offers an excellent solution for the Vanagon owner who is comfortable staying with the 14" rim but wants a quality tire with reinforced sidewalls that can handle all driving conditions (highway, rain, snow, loose dirt). The CS is a studless tire with a specially formulated steel cord material of reinforced high tensile steel to provide strength and stability for improved winter grip on all road conditions, all year round. The CS has gotten great reviews from Vanagon owners so we have encouraged Nokian to bring more of them into the country to keep them more readily available. We are fans of the Nokian tires because they meet and exceed the required specs for Vanagon tires and have excellent grip and stability in dry and wet conditions.
