Michelin 205/65/15 Agilis Tire & Wheel Package
VC.EUROAGILISSET
Another wheel and tire combination? Well, we won't list them all. You are welcome to discuss any combination of tires and wheels that we sell, but we want to highlight the most common ones that we consider desirable. This wheel and tire package pairs the popular Euro-look wheel - a wheel that both us and our competitors have sold for years, combined with the old favorite - the Michelin Agilis 205/65/15. Load Range C - meets or exceeds all of the requirements for a Vanagon tire. Although not an all season tire, the Agilis is a long lasting tire that handles well in both dry and wet conditions. As price has crept higher for this tire, you see that we offer the alternatives with the Nokians. As many people have driven with this tire for many years, there is something to be said about staying with a set of shoes that are comfortable. This package is the most affordable package including the Agilis, but it can also be combined with other wheels that we sell by request. Please be aware that the wheel here is 7" wide and Michelin recommends this tire for use on wheels that are 5.5" to 6.5". We have always gotten the informal nod from tire companies that 0.5" outside of the range is acceptable and this package has been one of the more common combinations that Vanagon owners have been using over the past 10 years. We provide the facts so that you can make an informed decision that you are comfortable with.
PLEASE NOTE - shipping quotes will not be accurate on the shopping cart shipping calculator (it will likely just give a default error for the shipping). A rough guide on shipping is $80 - $120 range for western states - $200 range to the east coast. It is best if you email for shipping quote - shipping quote will be less if we are shipping to a business address - signature will be required for delivery. ALSO - Whenever installing any 15" rims you must remove the two small set bolts that hold the drum to the rear hub while the wheel is off, otherwise they prevent the rim from sitting flush.
