And there is a new wheel in town! The Carrot Alloy 15" x 7" ET 25 - price per wheel. These do require using cone shaped lug nuts or lug bolts which are included. The original 14" was called the Carat wheel. A subsequent 15" wheel from South Africa with similar styling was called the Carat 2. With similarities to both, we could have gone with Carat 3, but in recognition of years of mispronunciation, we pay tribute with the "Carrot". Now, with the 5 branches it might have been more appropriate to call it the cauliflower or the broccoli but after a quick check with fellow workers, it appears that adults still wince at the thought of these vegetables......so Carrot it is. Although we find the styling very appealing we do want to point out that this wheel does not have a pronounced curb guard (a raised portion near the beading area). Most tires these days do have a thick rubber protrusion as a guard but these are not as effective as being on the wheel. Many wheels do not have curb guards - it just means use more caution when parking. Wheel is also available as a wheel and tire package. We have lots of Nokian tire sizes and models so please email or call to discuss tire and wheel package options. On 2wd's where the speedometer cable pokes through the wheel bearing cap on the driver's side we have to drill a small hole in the center cap to leave clearance for the cable. Not ideal, but in reality does not catch your eye unless you stare right at it. PLEASE NOTE: Whenever installing any 15" rims you must remove the two small set bolts that hold the drum to the rear hub while the wheel is off, otherwise they prevent the rim from sitting flush. Also the stock tire iron will not work with these wheels, we recommend traveling with a breaker bar and 19mm socket.
