Here is a combination of front and rear products that will protect your van and allow you to used the stock bumpers (whether fiberglass or chrome) in conjunction with them. Front Bull Bar.... Here is some added protection for your Vanagon and unlike many of the various bumper and bull bar options available from all of us vendors, this one is used in conjunction with the stock bumper. Rear Hitch.... This high clearance trailer hitch is modeled after the South African model from VW. It has a 2" square receiver so all of the standard trailer hitch accessories will fit. You will have to cut a square hole in your bumper for the receiver to fit, but because of this you have a trailer hitch with extremely high ground clearance and should not rub on steep hill or driveways. This trail hitch includes new rear brackets that extend further into the body to catch the third bolt hole on each side - both sturdier for protection and stronger for towing and increased tongue weight.
