Rubber brake hoses will expand/stretch when you apply firm pedal pressure resulting in a mushy pedal. Simply installing stainless steel lines will provide a firmer pedal. The front hoses are much longer than the rear, so the improvement is noticeable upon installing the front lines, but negligible with the rear. Not that we are discouraging replacing the rears, but we strongly encourage replacing at least the fronts. These are stainless steel lines with teflon hose. 2 required per car and will fit 1980-1991 all models. Sold individually.
