Headlight Relay Kit

This is the first step in resolving dim headlights on 86-91 models. Headlight switches on most modern vehicles utilize a relay system that puts the voltage straight from your battery to the headlight as opposed to running it through the switch. The Vanagon suffers from low power to the headlights as it is absorbed during its circuitous path to the lights and they also suffer from high failure (melt down) of the headlight switch. This simple relay kit is the remedy. If you upgrade to 80/100w low beam or 100w high beams you will also need to upgrade fuse to 15amp.
