Rubber brake hoses will expand/stretch when you apply firm pedal pressure resulting in a mushy pedal. Simply installing stainless steel lines will provide a firmer pedal. The front hoses are much longer than the rear, so the improvement is noticeable upon installing the front lines, but negligible with the rear. These are stainless steel lines with teflon hose. Made in the USA,and will fit 1980-1991 all models. These are DOT approved - made in the USA - brand is Goodridge and they have the correctly sized end fittings that require no modifications.
